Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right if you don’t give up – Galatians 6:9 (CEV).
I know of many people who have had terrible experiences in trying to help people. They helped them with their kids, cooked for them, prayed for them, helped them find a job, only for those they helped to eventually turn against them.
Quite obviously, this has caused a lot of pain and bitterness and some of them have vowed never to help anyone anymore. While this may seem a street smart way, that’s not the way of Christ. This is exactly how the enemy (the devil) wants it.
be kind and do good [doing favors so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting and hoping for nothing in return but considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High (Luke 6:35 Amplified)
Most of us help others with a view to receiving help in return when required. And when they don’t receive it, it makes them feel used and abused. The bible tells us that we should help without expecting and hoping for anything in return. Furthermore, it encourages us that whenever we help others it is not in vain; we will receive a sure reward from the Lord and we will be called the sons and daughters of the Most High.
The Bible says: “…If you have the gift of helping others, do it with the strength that God supplies…” – 1Peter 4:11 (CEV)
Don’t stop pouring into others. As you do, the Lord will supply the strength, the power and this will keep increasing you and multiply your ability to be a blessing to thousands around you. This is the secret of spiritual growth.
So then, don’t let fear, doubt, unbelief, resentment, and bitterness hinder you from being a blessing, a giver and lifter of others.
Scripture says in Hebrews 6:10 “God is not unfair. How can He forget your hard work for him, or forget the way you have shown your love for Him—and still do—by helping his children?”
Always be excited, knowing that the Lord is the one who rewards you for your kindness and labour of love towards others.
When the vessels were all full, the widow said to her son, “Bring me another vessel. And he said to his mother, “there is not a one left”. Then the oil stopped multiplying. (2 Kings 4:6)
The oil stopped multiplying when the widow stopped pouring. I want to prophetically tell you….
Keep pouring even when they don’t appreciate you, they don’t respect you for all that you do.
Keep pouring even when they reject you, hurt you and don’t understand you

Father, give me the grace to keep on being a blessing to people around me. You are just and faithful. Nothing is hidden from your eyes. Give me more so that I can do more. All the glory is Yours. In Jesus' name. Amen.
