You have given a banner to those who fear You,

That it may be displayed because of the truth. (Psalm 60:4)

This promise is not for everyone. It is only for those who fear God.

A banner is meant to be displayed. What good is a banner that is not displayed?

The banner proclaims the identity of God’s camp.

The Father has raised the ultimate banner over us all - Lord Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus has been raised upon the cross and made us aware that we are all under His protection in our daily battles.

Judah is My lawgiver. (Psalm 60:7)

In Biblical prophecy, the tribe of Judah was called the "lawgiver." In Psalm 60:7, God said, "Judah is My lawgiver." And Judah's emblem was the lion.
