For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice… (Genesis 18:19)

God knew Abraham that He would “command” his children and household after him and train them to follow the ways of the Lord and to execute justice and judgment, which is very important to God. There is a major responsibility on parents to raise their children as God’s army for end-time revival. Civilization is at its peak in many advanced nations, and it is very difficult for parents to correct their children. Many children are being raised without any moral and sound spiritual training. Many children born a few years back see Christianity as “a religion not as a personal relationship with God.” The internet, social media, and happenings around are pulling them away from God.

You have a responsibility. God is not just giving children to people for the sake of reproduction; those children have assignments here on earth that they must perform. Can God trust you in raising one of His generals?

Susanna Wesley, a faithful custodian of God’s army (the children God gave her), she prayed her children into the will and work of God. A praying woman that had to take care of ten children, work to make ends meet, and still had quality time to meet with God in prayer. Two of her children became great generals for God, John and Charles Wesley. She spent two hours in prayer every day without neglecting her role as a mother and wife.

God needs human vessels like Abraham, Susanna Wesley, amongst many others that He can count on. If you are not living for God, the enemy will continue to use bareness or any other means to afflict and oppress you.

Children are compared to arrows in the hands of a soldier; that’s a sign that children are spiritual weapons. If children are not raised up for God, the enemy will hijack them and use them against the kingdom of God.

The world’s system is filled with ungodliness, worldliness, lust, uncleanliness, and unrighteousness. The devil aims at altering the thought process of many children so that they become enemies of the gospel. Parents are God’s first guardians and trainers that He can bank on in raising godly armies for Him.

The kingdom mandate is to raise an army for God; this is God’s prophetic agenda. It is something you can tap into and enter into partnership with God just like Hannah and be willing to raise and train up a child for God.

Instead of allowing civilization and the internet to alter the child’s thought process, you must get busy teaching the child the knowledge of God, the fear of God, and the ways of God.

God is still looking for many partners that will whole-heartedly make a vow like Hannah and lend their children to God. They may not become prophets, but they will become mighty vessels in the hands of God in the marketplace, government, healthcare system, entertainment industry, and wherever they find themselves.

Are you fit for the kingdom mandate? Can you raise a godly child? Are you willing? If you can align with God’s plans and purposes, He will break off the power of the devil over your marriage and grant you fruitfulness.
