Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure: (Psalm 2:5)
The voice of the Lord can be heard at two times
1.In the time of His favour
2.In the time of His wrath
In the above verse, the Lord speak to them in His wrath
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2:12)
Kiss the Son
God has a Son and we are commanded to kiss Him; meaning to worship Him.
Even the Old Testament commands us to worship Lord Jesus Christ. (the Son)
lest you perish in the way
worshipping the Son, Lord Jesus Christ will not cause anyone to perish because He Himself is the way. (John 14:6). I believe Lucifer fell when he ceased to worship the Son.
